At Blooming Orchid Wellness, we provide a comprehensive treatment protocol using a program that we created, the DAP System. DAP is the acronym for Discover, Administer, and Promote. This trilogy of services work together for proven results.
Your intake starts with a thorough discovery health screening. During the process, we often utilize iridology which is a safe, non-intrusive technique of scanning the iris of the eye.
The ocular biomarkers in the iris register information about your underlying health. It informs us about possible genetic existence of any disease and possible evidence of trauma, inflammation, and abnormal conditions in organ tissues and systems. Iridology is critical to the success of your treatment program. It serves as non-invasive method for measuring progress; and it serves a key role in administering treatment.

Facial reflexology is an ancient Vietnamese technique that aims to heal, relax, and bring balance to the body. Gentle pressure is applied to meridian points in the face that stimulate corresponding parts of the body in order to promote circulation, health, and nerve condition.
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practice that is grounded in the theory that blockage or disturbance in the flow of the body’s energy, or “Qi”, can cause health issues. Acupuncture works by stimulating the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals) and engaging the nervous system to release chemicals that regulate blood flow and pressure, reduce inflammation, and calm the brain.
In electro-acupuncture, an electrical device is connected to the acupuncture needles; it provides a low current that enhances stimulation for the needles, thereby promoting the effectiveness of the acupuncture treatment.
Cosmetic Acupuncture addresses the internal stressors that contribute to skin-related issues. This non-invasive and natural approach has many benefits including revitalized skin, a brighter complexion, a more youthful appearance, improved muscle tone, and increased circulation.
Cupping is a treatment in which glass cups are applied to the skin to cause a suction effect. It is used to relieve stagnation of Qi and enhance blood flow. Many athletes use this treatment to promote recovery after intense periods of training and competition.
Moxibustion, also known as “moxa”, involves the use of heating a dried herb called mugwort in or near the acupuncture needles. The heat helps to increase the flow of vital energy (also known as "Qi") throughout the body via certain pathways known as "meridians.” Moxa is commonly used to strengthen immunity, stimulate digestion, treat arthritis and chronic pain issues and ease muscle tension.
Gua Sha is a healing technique that involves scraping the skin with a massage tool to improve blood circulation and stagnant energy.
Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method for treating issues such as depression, anxiety, fatigue, stress, and chronic pain. Reiki calls upon strengthening life force energy – the energy that flows through and around you – for balance, harmony, restoration and healing.
Nutrition is the first line of defense in ancient medicine as it provides the energy needed for the body to function.
At Blooming Orchid Wellness, we know that nutrition is necessary for sustainable and responsible health. Therefore, we focus on nutrition as part of a treatment protocol. Your treatment program may come with nutritional counseling and recommendations for keeping a food journal; making dietary adjustments; and supplementing your diet with herbs, minerals, and vitamins.
Our DAP treatment system is not a one-size-fits-all treatment program. It is customized to help you bloom again.
